The
2013 Porsche 911 Carrera is a 2-door, 4-passenger luxury sports
car, available in the base and S trims. For 2013, the new Porsche
911 will be initially available as a Carrera and a Carrera S in
coupe format only. If you are looking for a car that combines
traditional styling cues with modern technology and convenience,
the 2013 Porsche 911 Carrera is a better car than its predecessors.
Be the comfort, safety or luxury, the 2013 Porsche 911 Carrera
comes with an array of features and specs that can win over its
potential customers. Taller, wider and shorter stem to stern,
the 2013 Porsche 911 Carrera can set the road on fire with its
breathtaking levels of performance. With its impressive looks
and fabulous performance, the 911 Carrera can mesmerize the automobile
aficionados.
While
the Base trim of the 2013 Porsche 911 Carrera is powered by a
standard 3.6-liter, H6 engine that generates a horsepower of 325,
the S trim is equipped with a standard 3.8-liter, H6 engine that
generates a horsepower of 355. Both engines are mated to a 6-speed
manual transmission with overdrive. A 5-speed automatic transmission
with overdrive comes as an option. The transmission has been upgraded
and does not require much maintenance. The engine achieves 0-60
mph acceleration in 4.8 seconds. What's more, the engine is even
eco-friendly with its revised emission and exhaust systems. While
the Base trim features a single-disc dry clutch, the upscale S
trim of the 2013 Porsche 911 Carrera comes with a new self-adjusting
clutch.
The
2013 Porsche 911 Carrera is equipped with standard 18-inch wheels
with 235/40 tires in front and 265/40 in the rear. In the unforeseen
case of any tire puncture, the Porsche 911 Carrera can travel
up to 50 mph. The cross-drilled and inner-vented brakes, measuring
12.5 inches in front and 11.8 inches in back, provide a quicker
response than the 2004 model. Besides the powerful engine, the
2013 Porsche 911 Carrera comes with Porsche Active Suspension
Management (PASM), bi-Xenon headlights, automatic climate control,
an upgraded nine-speaker audio system, a multi-function steering
