2013 MazdaSpeed MX5 Miata Review Pictures
Nobody
does it better than Mazda. The 2013 Mazda speed MX-5 Miata comes with
most of the essentials including tilt power steering, cloth upholstery
on front bucket seats, a split folding rear seat, AM/FM/CD player,
clock, and more. New interior upgrades for this year include two new
tweeter speakers for the modular audio system and black-on-white gauges.
The top-level ES edition adds final upgrade details like the upgraded
sound system fog lights and a rear spoiler on the out side it looks
pretty much the same but a nosy buyer will definitely spot the change
in wheels which now measures 16 inches & also come with wider
rubber P255/R16 .Inside will also look a tad difference with its new
color scheme options. The rear wiper now works intermittently that
can be operated from the stalk behind the steering wheel. The Biggest
improvement is in the air -conditioning which now gets dedicated roof-mounted
vent for the rear seats.
The totally new 2013 Mazda speed MX-5 Miata brings "soul of a sports
car" to the world of midsize sedans. In striking contrast to ho?hum,
4?door family haulers that clutter the marketplace, It also delivers
the goods. With up to 220 hp, a sport?tuned suspension system, 4?wheel
disc brakes, friction?optimized rack?and?pinion steering, plus a remarkably
versatile interior, It has exhilaration?and tons of showroom traffic?written
all over it. The 2.9-liter CRDi engine now receives more horses/.The
bhp increase from 150 to 163 makes it even more powerful, besides
churning out brutal torque of 33.9kgm. The common rail pressure has
also been increased to 1600bar which means that fuel injection is
more pronounced to sustain the hike in power & torque. The 5-Door's
roof line slopes gradually to the rear deck lid. Opening the liftgate
of the 5-Door reveals a covered cargo compartment with 22.0 cubic
feet of space, nearly 50 percent more than that of the sedan.
In the 2013 Mazda speed MX-5 Miata, the second-row seats fold with
the touch of a lever located near the tailgate with no need to remove
the head rests for a near-flat load floor. Tie-downs, a retractable
cargo cover shade and a barrier-type net that raises from the floor
and attaches to the roof interior all come standard. The rear compartment
offers 33.7 cubic feet of cargo room with the seats up and 60.4 cubic
feet with them folded, which is in the same league as some small SUVs.
Equipped with a 220-horsepower V6 engine, and unlike most wagons,
a five-speed manual transmission is standard (five-speed Sport Shift
A/T with manual shift mode available). It comes with either a 160 horsepower
I-4 (available with five-speed manual or four-speed Sport Shift A/T
with manual shift mode) or the 220-horsepower V6 (available with five-speed
manual or five-speed Sport Shift A/T with manual shift mode).
