2013 Jaguar S Type Review Pictures
2013 Jaguar
S-Type is the less-expensive of Jaguar's two luxury sedans. Jaguar
has re-engineered its S-Type sedan for 2004, but the differences are
hard to see visually, at least from the outside. Driving S type however,
reveals a big improvement in responsiveness, ride quality, and vehicle
dynamics. Revisions to the interior bring improved comfort and convenience.
An exciting new 2013 Jaguar S-Type now rides at the top of the model
line with a powerful supercharged engine, a sports suspension, and
big Brembo brakes. A new six-speed automatic transforms the S-Type
cars, making them extremely responsive and an absolute joy to drive,
whether quietly motoring around town, covering great distances, or
attacking backcountry roads.
Jaguar S Type offers a beautiful body lines and powerful 390-horsepower
engine when supercharged. 3.0 Liter can go 0-60 mph equipped with
the manual transmission in 7.3 sec. with the automatic transmission
7.5 sec. and reaches a maximum speed 121 mph. Engine is a Type 60
aluminum alloy cylinder head/block. DOHC, 4 valves per cylinder, variable
cam phasing. Break systems are electronically controlled antilock
with yaw control. It can handle 293 horsepower with the 4.2 liter
engine smoothly and confidently. It offers a perfect 50:50 weight
distribution and fully independent suspension, partially because of
it's state of the art manufactured weight-saving aluminum design.
