The Base and LX models are powered by a 3.3L 180 horsepower V6 engine, which is paired to a four-speed automatic transmission. The Touring and Limited models are powered by 3.8L 215 horsepower V6 engine also paired to four speed automatic transmission.

New features include "Stow N Go seats" for the 2nd and 3rd row seats, as well as 2nd and 3rd row seat side air bags. Touring and Limited models feature power driver and passenger-side sliding doors, an eight-way power driver seat, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel with touch controls. The 2013 model year redesign of Chrysler's front-wheel-drive minivans and the Dodge Grand Caravan focuses on the interior. Newly available "Stow 'n Go" seating lets you fold both the second- and third-row seats into the floor. The new minivans go on sale early in 2013.
