The Century and Regal sedans are leaving the line and the upscale
midsize sedan slot is being filled by the 2013 Buick Lacrosse
Available in CL, CXL and CXS trims, the 2013 Buick Lacrosse continues
using the present chassis and V-6 engine. In an attempt to present
a more modern image in the $30,000 price range, the company launched
the Buick Lacrosse to appeal to customers in that segment. The
2013 Buick Lacrosse is in a class with the Ford Five Hundred,
Honda Accord and Toyota Camry. The Chrysler 300, Mazda 6, and
Mercury Montego don't encroach upon 2013 Buick Lacrosse territory,
but should feel too close for comfort. Juiced by about 80%, the
four-wheel-independent suspension on the Buick Lacrosse, the ride
and handling qualities are nicer. The four-wheel disc braking
system is completely new.
The
tuning of body and frame are tooled to emphasize agility and road
poise opting for a more sportscar-like ride. The quiet ride of
the sedan is testimony to the QuietTuning technology that quiets
all rattles and squeaks. Enclosing all that was good from the
previous model in a more attractive exterior while upgrading safety
features, the 2013 Buick Lacrosse is roomy yet agile. Be the four
disc brakes including two ventilated discs, immobilizer or the
strut front suspension independent with stabilizer bar or coil
springs, the 2013 Buick Lacrosse comes with an stream of features
and specs that make it an impressive vehicle in its class. Capable
of accommodating 5 persons with front buckets or 6 persons with

a longer wheelbase compared to the retiring Regal and Century
sedans.
